About Me
Hello! My Name is Anna-Katharina Eidenbenz,
I'm an artist based in Los Angeles, California.

I was born in Zurich, Switzerland and raised in the Principality of Liechtenstein. When I was 16 I moved out and went to Brighton England, to study English where I attained the Cambridge Advanced Certificate. After that I moved to LA to go to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where I graduated in 2019.
Painting and Sketching have always been a creative outlet for me ever since I was a little girl. I would draw on napkins, sketch on books and newspapers, doodle in class (obviously), paint a whole sleeve on my arm with a sharpie. You know, as you do. I very quickly established a special love for details and aesthetics overall. Since moving to Los Angeles I have been very fortunate to expand the definition of what art means to me. To me, it means everything. As I've found it and feel it in everything. Creating and consuming art that tells a story, elicits an emotion or mood or brings out a nostalgic memory, is a gift to me. I cherish it, I love being a part of it, seeing it, watching it, supporting it. Whether it be on stage or on camera. In my art studio or in a movie theater. In a museum or on a drive to the beach.
My paintings are inspired by nature, history and nostalgic photographs, moments in time and the complexity of human behavior and emotions. I love getting creative with my pieces and combining different mediums and techniques (most of which are made up by yours truly). Some of my favorites include: acrylic and oil paints, watercolor, coal and pencil sketches, sponges, splatters and imitation gold foiling. I spend a lot of time on each of my pieces, making sure they have the depth, authenticity and individuality that I cherish so much in this world.
So if you have a blank wall or want to replace boring hotel room art with something spicy and custom made, reach out! With every art piece comes a little bit of me and a big ole chunk of love.
Thank you so much for your interest and support!
